MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
A successful candidate would be responsible for QA activities within the department. Duties would include:-• Liaise with business users to gather business requirements. • Manager UAT with developers and business users. • Review and question functional specifications for the purpose of deriving test criteria • Ability to analyse required testing efforts and provide estimations • Researching and creating detailed test specifications that cover the requirements of multiple departments• Executing test scripts & be able to analyse test results – manual and automated • Ability to write automated test components• Liaising with business users to development / environment management teams within the department globally • Involvement in various testing phases from system/functional (GUI) testing to regression testing.• Recording and tracking defects through to closure • Being able to take an analytical approach to testing - understanding business and its’ process (front-to-back) and the testing required to support system changes and implementation of any new functionality. • Ability to adapt to a changing environment whilst keeping to tight deadlines.
